A deeper, slower massage for muscles under load.
Sports massage · Vodice
Sports massage works deeper and slower. It targets muscles under load — shortened, tired or sore after exertion. We combine deeper strokes, stretching and work on specific points.
It isn't necessarily pleasant every second, but afterwards the body feels noticeably lighter and more mobile.
What the treatment is like
- A conversation about the training, exertion or pain that brings you in
- Deeper work on selected muscle groups, not necessarily the whole body
- Stretching and pressure on points of increased tension
- Advice on what to do at home — water, movement, rest
Who it's for
- For recreational and competitive athletes, before or after exertion
- After long bike rides, runs or hikes
- For chronically tight muscles in the neck, back and legs
- For anyone who wants results from a massage, not just comfort
Frequently asked questions
- Will it hurt?
- We work at the edge of comfort — deep pressure can be intense, but never unbearable. You set the limit.
- When is it better to come — before or after training?
- Both make sense. Before exertion the massage is shorter and brisker; after exertion it's slower and more thorough. Tell us what's ahead of you and we'll adjust.
- Can I train the same day?
- After a deeper massage we recommend an easy day. Let the body do its work.
- Will I feel stiff the next day?
- Mild muscle soreness the day after is normal and passes on its own, usually within 24 to 48 hours.
